A look of intensity - again am still buzzing from this shoot and I think I will be buzzing until Saturday when we do it all over again with the girls.

Model Portfolios Fran

Dear all

On Saturday we had one of the most exciting fashion shoots at the studio to date. We photographed four fantastic models in the studio. Here are a few of Fran. To begin we photographed the guys in jeans and waistcoats. We then photographed them wearing mourning suits for the rental side of Damaris Novios y Novias. To finish we photographed the guys dressed in Braveheart style atire, and I think you'll agree from Fran's folio here we have captured some great shots.

The shoot began at 5pm and the atmosphere was so eclectic that we worked straight through to 0130am. What a shoot. I am still buzzing.

Julie & Kevin

Dear all

We photographed Julie & Kevin's wedding in Nerja last Sunday. The bride was getting ready at the Hotel Balcon de Europa which is where they had their reception. The couple got married in the Iglesia de San Salvador. As I mentioned in a previous posting it rained all day on Sunday - that was until 1655 - as the bride left the hotel to walk to the church truly a sign that this couple should be together!!!!

We took some shots afterwards on the Balcon de Europa, then on to the little fisherman's beach to the left of the Balcon - one of my favourite spots for wedding photographs (depending on the time of year!). I am really happy with how the photos turned out and hope you enjoy seeing these snapshots of the day.

Videography was done by Steve & Katja from www.spanishweddingvideos.com. Wedding entertainment during canapes reception was by Patrick White from www.weddingentertainerspain.com and planning by Mum and Daughter team www.getmarriedinspain.com.

A great day all in all.

In other notes my plan was successful to deliver Julie-Anne and Alan's wedding album before they left Spain. I drove to the airport as they were checking in and delivered the album - am pleased that we can do this service.

Julianne & Alan - a few photos

Dear all

Here are a few photos from Julianne & Alan's wedding at Marinas de Nerja from this weekend.

Photos have been picked up from the lab, and Julie is currently laying the album. The album will be ready by Friday when we will deliver it to the bride and groom in Nerja.

Julie spent all day yesterday at the studio capturing and editing photos from Julia and Kevin's wedding, whilst I was out photographing a fashion shoot for Damaris Novios at the Tamisa Golf Hotel.

Will give more details on Julie and Kevin's wedding later today, but enjoy the pics from the new season.

Wedding Julianne & Alan

Dear all,

On Friday we photographed the wedding of Julianne & Alan in the beautiful town of Nerja. The wedding was organised by mum and daughter team - Moya & Emma - from Get Married in Spain - www.getmarriedinspain.com. The church ceremony was held in La Iglesia de San Salvador and the reception was held in the Hotel Marinas de Nerja - one of the most beautiful locations to celebrate a wedding.

It was a fantastic day, and the bride and groom had a fantastic time. They really were a wonderful couple, and it was great to work with the team. Steve and Katja from Spanish Wedding Videos - www.spanishweddingvideo.com - were there to film the day. It is always great to work with this team as they are fun and their approach to videography is quite similar to our style of photography. Music at the church, and reception was done by Patrick Wight - www.weddingentertainerspain.com - and was great.

Julie spent a manic day in the studio yesterday, capturing, narrowing down and editing the photographs. All photos were ready last night at 6pm - well done Jules on your hard work.

We held the viewing session this morning, and it was great to see the reaction of Julianne and Alan when watching their slideshow. They have now put in their order of photos for their album and for their parent albums, and purchased a CD of low-res images to share with family and friends. This will be put into production tomorrow and we aim to have it delivered to them by Friday of this week - we will keep you all informed as to the progress of the album.

All in all a truly fantastic start to the season - photos will be uploaded to blog tomorrow as we have another wedding today at the Hotel Balcon de Euopa - and I can´t believe it is raining.

I will give you a rundown tomorrow of todays wedding.

Opening Hours & Summer Season News

Dear all

I am pleased to announce that Julie is now back working full-time at the studio. Our wedding season is now about to kick off and I can't wait! As a result our new hours will be as follows:

Monday - Saturday: 10am - 2pm / 3pm - 6pm.

We will not be able to open up on Sundays as there are quite a few Nerja weddings on Sundays this year. Julie will be working in the studio most afternoons and I will be in the studio in mornings- depending on weddings we may switch this around but either way the studio will be open 6 days a week.

For our wonderful brides and grooms this year, your viewing sessions will be held 2 days after your wedding - we are aiming for sessions to be held from 1130 to 1400hrs. So for Julie & Ronan who are getting married on Friday 7 May - their viewing session will be held at the studio on Sunday 9 May at 1130.

This is the ideal opportunity for couples to sit back, have a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy browsing the moments of your special day - please try to make the effort to come along. This also gives you the great opportunity to order the photos for your album there and then. Depending on your package you could leave Spain with your album / photos.

Finally we are looking forward to welcoming Ricky Woodside to the team in June. Ricky will be coming out for over a week in June to work alongside Curran Photography as 2nd shooter. We will also be organising one amazing fashion shoot at some stage during that week. Details to follow.
